Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
Quiet weather characterizes the forecast for this week; high temperatures are floating between the low 30s and 40s this week with Tuesday being the warmest day. A ridge to the west slowly settles into the Great Lakes, allowing warmer air to filter through Michiana and gradually melt snow over the next several days. Dense fog may become a concern later in the week, but clearing skies right now will limit that potential. A slight chance for rain and snow develops late Wednesday, but at this point that chance does not look impactful. Despite the warmer weather, cloud cover will remain prominent with most of our area only seeing peaks of sunshine on a daily basis.
Today: Partly cloudy. High 32.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 28.
Tuesday: Overcast. High 40.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 32.
