SOUTH BEND, Ind.,--Art Beat returns to downtown South Bend for its 19th year. It is the largest concentration of artists in the region, featuring more than 500 artists. The event features more than traditional art, it will feature musicians, culinary specialists, dancers and more.
Each year, Art Beat takes over Howard Park, Jefferson Bridge and the East Bank Village with a variety of mediums, like jewelry, drawing, pottery and more. There are also five stages with entertainment ranging from belly dancers to barbershop quartets, fashion shows and local music.
New to Art Beat is the Conscious Michiana Zen Zone with mindful art activities, like Reiki and chair massages
Saturday’s events begin at 11 a.m., ending at 7 p.m. The event is free. More information, including parking maps and street closures can be found here.
