GRANGER, Ind. - A colorful building that once housed a number of restaurants in Granger has officially been demolished to make room for a new storage facility.
The space, located on the corner of Cleveland Road and State Road 23, was home to Chi-Chi's in the 1980s but closed in the early '90s.
After being vacant for a while, the building is officially no more.
Construction is now underway for a climate-controlled self-storage facility on the north side of the property.
