Local Catholic academy looking to move into Portage Manor property
SOUTH BEND, Ind. --To help those in need during this holiday season, we're highlighting how you can provide gifts to children in the local foster care system through the Court Appointed Special Advocate program (CASA).
CASA has been helping Hoosier kids in abusive or unsafe home situations for 35 years. This program based in Saint Joseph County works to be a voice and speak for the best interest of local children.
ABC57's Summer Horan had the chance to speak with CASA's trainer and recruiter Amanda Buchholz.
