Cass County Council of Aging receives $10k for free dinner program

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. -- The Cass County Council of Aging received a $10,000 donation for its Supper and Social program designed to reduce social isolation for older adults.

On Tuesday, Molina Healthcare of Michigan announced the $10,000 donation to the Cass County Council of Aging, alongside The MolinaCares Accord as part of $135,000 in grants to the Michigan Association of Senior Centers.

The Supper and Social program is a free, once-a-month evening dinner and social event for older adults across Cass County. It is designed to offer them a chance to gather outside of traditional daytime hours and build a sense of community.
