Certain blood pressure medicine reduces occurrence of dementia

A medical breakthrough linking certain blood pressure medications with staving off dementia.
The study found those who take blood pressure medication that blocked the protein angiotensin had as much as a 50% less occurrence of dementia.
The protein causes blood vessels to constrict causing increased blood pressure.
There are risks with angiotensin targeted drugs so talk with your doctor about the best course of treatment.
