Celebratory gunfire a dangerous trend on New Years
Yet another day of sunshine and cooler-than-normal temperatures awaits us with the zone of high pressure continuing to shift eastward. Winds stay calm today as highs max out in the mid 70s with clear skies above. Tonight, most of the area falls back into the low 50s/upper 40s with little cloud cover, maximizing cooling at the surface. Thursday and Friday will warm towards more seasonal values while still maintaining sunny skies. Dewpoints begin to feel stuffy Friday evening into Saturday as the heat dome sets up over our area, resulting in hot and humid weather through much of the weekend.
Today: Sunny. High 76.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 50.
Thursday: Sunny. High 79.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 84.
