The U.S. Supreme Court is hearing arguments that could change what free speech looks like on the internet.
Right now, the country's highest court is arguing Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which protects social media companies from being sued for what users post on their platforms.
The case, Gonzalez vs. Google, challenges that protection.
Dr. Asaf Lubin, Associate Professor of Law and fellow at the Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research at Indiana University in Bloomington, joined ABC57 to discuss the debate.
