Decatur Public Schools closed Tuesday due to threat

DECATUR, Mich. – Classes were canceled for Decatur students Tuesday after a threat was found written in a bathroom Monday.

According to the school district, police were contacted immediately and an investigation was opened.

The credibility of the threat hasn’t been determined.

Decatur Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Patrick Creagan expects the investigation to at last through Tuesday.
