Doctors warn of T.H.C use and breast feeding

New moms who use marijuana could be exposing their babies to chemicals through breast milk.

That's according to a new study in the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Researchers analyzed fifty women who smoked pot or ate edible marijuana.

They found the mind-altering chemical T-H-C in 63-percent of the women's breast milk samples.

The study also found T-H-C could linger in their milk for up to six days.

It’s lead author admits they don't know yet how T-H-C affects a baby's development.
