Dog rescued from icy pond

DENVER -- A dramatic rescue was set to save a trapped dog from an ice pond in Denver Thursday afternoon.

The bulldog fell through the ice and immediately had trouble staying afloat.

Emergency crews were called and a rescuer in a wet suit made his way toward the dog while staying harnessed to the shore with a rope.

He eventually pulled the dog out of the water.

They still don't know how the dog got into the water.
