Fire ravages home in Berrien Springs

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- Fire destroyed a two-story home in Berrien Springs on Monday. It happened at South Kimmell Road.
Firefighters from multiple departments, including Berrien Springs and Eau Claire Fire, worked together for several hours to extinguish the flames.
The family who lives there lost nearly everything. Luckily, no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
ABC 57's Jillian Mahen was able to talk to the homeowners. They are in shock over the incident.
Fire investigators are not yet sure what caused the fire. They will be sifting through the remains of the home the rest of the evening and on Tuesday.
