Former library director sentenced for wire fraud

The former interim director for the Walkerton-Lincoln Township Public Library was sentenced to prison and must pay restitution to the library for using library funds to pay personal expenses.

Scott Klingerman, 45, was sentenced to 20 months in prison and 2 years supervised release.

He also must pay restitution of $26,654.62 to the library and $6,238.68 to the State of Indiana.

Klingerman was interim director of the library in Walkerton from 2010 through 2013.

In 2012, Klingerman used library funds to pay for personal expenses a health club membership and hotel rooms.
