Former Roseland Town Clerk charged

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Charges have been filed against a former Roseland Town Clerk accused of stealing money.
Prosecutors have charged Susan Hammons with three Class D Felony counts for theft and conversion.
Officials said that the 61-year-old Hammons stole money from the town's bank account in 2009 to pay for rent on her home.
