Furor over NFL replacement refs grows

SEATTLE -- The firestorm over the NFL replacement officials was on full display during Monday night's football game.

Some call it a “new low” point in the lockout of NFL referees. The third week was definitely not the charm for replacement refs. 

Their string of controversial calls came to a head at the end of the Seattle vs. Green Bay game. Seattle tried for a game-winning Hail Mary pass that looked like an interception.

The refs were literally giving mixed signals. Some fans said the stunning ending seemed to hurt the very integrity of the game.
