The last of this weekend's snow has cleared up, leaving behind overcast skies and lows in the upper 20s tonight. The quiet weather sticks through the bulk of Monday as highs climb into upper 30s, a few degrees above the daily average. The system snow starts up again late MON night, moving in from the southwest, and gets progressively heavier until Tuesday morning when precipitation type changes to a rain/snow mix that lasts through the afternoon and most of the evening. The rain/snow mix reverts back to snow Tuesday night which carries over into Wednesday as highs start consistently dropping over the next several days. Expect the snow to last for the rest of Wednesday and the early portion of Thursday as light lake effect develops after the system lifts northward.
Currently, accumulations from Monday night through Tuesday morning are expected to increase southeastward from the lake, with those closest to the water seeing less than an inch total.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 27.
Monday: Overcast. High 37.
Tuesday: Rain/snow. High 39.
Wednesday: Snow showers. High 35.
