Lake effect snow showers become more widespread throughout this morning; the expectation is minor morning traffic delays due to low visibility and slick surfaces. Total snow accumulation north of US-30 stays around an inch or two with northern Berrien County having the best chance of seeing 2+" by the end of today. Highs are measly, only getting to the upper 20s this afternoon. The snow tapers off early tonight, leaving behind lows in the mid-teens and clearing skies. Thursday is quiet with some sunshine peeking out, although highs still cannot surpass the mid 20s. Our next best chance for snow is Friday as a system develops near the Gulf of Mexico and moves northeastward. Widespread snow showers will be common heading into the weekend.
