Indiana hunter falls from tree stand

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. -- Terry Tester, 57, fell from his tree stand while deer hunting Saturday night.

He was trying to adjust his weight on the platform when the metal cables holding it up snapped in half.

Tester fell 17 feet but never lost consciousness. He was able to get his phone from his pocket and called 911.

Tester was transported to the hospital for a serious hip injury that is non-life-threatening.
