Indiana Michigan Power looking to raise power bills

Indiana Michigan Power filed a formal request with the Michigan Public Service Commission to raise customers’ power bill.

The utility would like to raise rates starting January 1st. The average increase would be about $6 a month. The rates would then go up an additional $3 a month six months later in July.

Indiana Michigan Power says it needs to maintain its infrastructure.
