Indiana Supreme Court to hear case of Delphi suspect Richard Allen

The Indiana Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments to reinstate Delphi murder suspect Richard Allen’s former counsel and remove the case’s current judge.

Arguments, laid out in a notice from the Supreme Court, are set for January 18, 2024.

In addition to reinstating Allen’s counsel and removing the judge, Frances Gull, from the case, the court will hear arguments requesting Allen’s trial be set within 70 days.

The hearing will take place in Indianapolis.
