SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Building Trades Expo took place at Notre Dame in the Stepan Center on Thursday.
The expo provided details on what career in construction could provide attendees later in life, as the industry faces a national workforce shortage.
Students were given a simulation tour on an active project, and took part in multiple hands-on activities, including wiring circuits and soldering pipes.
More than 80 contractors were in attendance at the expo, giving students many networking opportunities if they wanted to choose to pursue a career in construction.
