Lollapalooza South Shore Line Service Updates

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --  The South Shore Line will accommodate passengers attending Lollapalooza starting on July 31 through Sunday, August 3 at Grant Park. 

Thursday & Friday, July 31-Aug. 1, 2025:
An Extra eastbound train will depart Millennium Station at 10:40 p.m. (Van Buren St. at 10:42 p.m.), run non-stop to Hegewisch, and make all local stops terminating at Carroll Ave.

Alcohol will be prohibited on South Shore trains all day Thursday/Friday. Please be advised that glass bottles are always prohibited.
Saturday & Sunday, Aug. 2-3, 2025
Westbound Train 608 and Train 508 will operate Extras for additional capacity to accommodate passengers heading to Chicago in the morning. The Extra trains will depart directly following the scheduled departures of Tr 608 and Tr 508, and make all stops.

An Extra eastbound train will depart Millennium Station at 10:55 p.m. (Van Buren St. at 10:57 p.m.), run non-stop to Hegewisch and make all local stops terminating at Carroll Ave.

Among the big names taking the stage at Lollapalooza, like Tyler The Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, and Olivia Rodrigo, a band with South Bend ties will be taking the stage as well. The Ratboys is a group that was created on the campus of Notre Dame in 2010.

The Ratboys are scheduled to play next Thursday, July 31, the opening day of Lollapalooza at the Bud Light Stage.
