Man arrested for entering woman's car, urinating on seat

South Bend Police responded to a call about a man who had entered someone’s car and urinated in the seat.

The call went out around 11:00 a.m. Sunday while the woman was in the 1300 block of Elwood Avenue.

Police say a woman reported a man, Michael Coleman, who had allegedly entered her vehicle without permission and urinated on the seat.

Coleman was arrested for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and booked into the St. Joseph County Jail.

Family members say Coleman has a long history of mental illness and suffers from dementia.

Coleman has since been released on a $250.00 bond.
