Man pronounced dead after horse and buggy crash in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – Police say that an 80-year-old man died after his horse drawn buggy was struck by a pick-up truck on Tuesday at around 4:10 p.m. on 3B Road in Marshall County.

Police identified the man as LeRoy Hochstetler of Bremen.

The Marshall County Coroner pronounced him dead at the scene.

The driver of the pick-up truck was not injured.

The horse also died from the crash.

An investigation is ongoing.
