Michiana enjoying beautiful weather in variety of ways
Across Michiana, many people are taking every opportunity to get outside and enjoy the beautiful early-spring weather.
Highs Monday and Tuesday reached just shy of 70 degrees, which is about 25 to 30 degrees above normal for early March.
Today is now the warmest day of 20201, falling just shy of the record high of 70°.

The links at Juday Creek Golf Course were packed Tuesday, as hundreds of golfers waited their turn to shake off months of rust and get on the green.
"It's been great, we've been open for 5 days, and we've put close to 1000 people through the course," Jordan Tancos of Juday Creek said. "It's great to see some of the folks who we haven't since the summer so it's fun for us."

Others flocked to the Riverwalk to bike, fish, or hike, like Mishawaka resident Sherri Vegh.
"It's my first day off in I don't know how many months," explained Vegh, "so I already had a 3 mile walk with my grandson and now I'm out here with my daughter just enjoying how lovely it is. People are out and they seem happy."
And the line stretched around the building at Dairy Queen in South Bend. Staff there said the demand for ice cream over the past few days has been hard to keep up with.
"The orders for ice cream and blizzards are steady," cashier April Harmon said. "They start at about 10:30 in the morning and they keep rolling until 11 at night. We even ran out of snickerdoodle and red velvet cake on Monday."
Temperatures will remain in the 60s until Thursday, although the weather will not be nearly as nice as rain and wind moves in.
