Michigan has 1,259,261 COVID-19 cases, 23,315 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 17,008 new cases* of COVID-19, and 83 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over three days (Saturday, Sunday, & Monday). The average number of new cases is 5,669 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 32 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,259,261 COVID-19 cases, 23,315 deaths,1,075,956 recovered, and 10,461,157 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 18,828 confirmed cases, 319 deaths, 148,822 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,766 cases, 90 deaths, 35,613 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  8,423 cases, 120 deaths, 47,663 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 9,859 cases, 161 deaths, 76,812 vaccine doses administered
