Mississippi paddle boat marooned on California sand bar

An authentic Mississippi paddle wheel boat got stuck on a sand bar for four hours on Lake Tahoe in California.
Around 300 tourists had to be evacuated by police.
Some of them say the wait was a doozy.
"Not many information updates from the captain I go up to the captain after every hour and ask of him what is wrong? Is it safe? Everything ok? And he tell me yes everything ok, everything is safe," said one passenger on the boat.
Lake Tahoe's water levels have gone down recently.
