ST. JOSEPH COUNTY — The St. Joseph County dispatch confirmed that Anthony L. Patton, Jr. is in custody.
He was caught after 3:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Patton Jr. had a warrant out for his arrest due to a connection with the homicide of Tomara Agnew and shots fired at SBPD officer James Wagner on October 7.
Investigators say Agnew was Patton Jr.'s girlfriend's mother.
The prosecutor's office has charged him with murder, attempted murder, pointing a firearm, resisting law enforcement and a firearm sentencing enhancement.
New charges that were added on Saturday include: resisting law enforcement and false informing.
