New program to issue veteran ID cards in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Berrien County wants to make sure local veterans get the discounts they deserve for their service.
A new program will issue veteran ID cards to those who were honorably discharged. They hope it will help more vets get access to discounts at area stores.
There is a $10 one-time fee for the card. Applications are available at the county clerk or the veterans affairs office.
