Two injured in Cass County crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – 20-year-old Dowagiac resident and one-year-old son were taken to the hospital after losing control of vehicle on Monday.

Deputies say the crash happened on Peavine Street near Indian Lake Road around 2:45 p.m.

The driver, Danelis De-Los-Santos was driving East bound when she lost control of her vehicle.

Officials say her vehicle ran off the road and into a utility pole.

Seat belts and car seat were used and alcohol was not a factor.

Deputies will continue this investigation.
