Newton Park Inclusive Trunk-or-Treat to be held October 27
Newton Park is hosting a free Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday October 27 from 5 -7 p.m. The event is designed to be for everyone, including children with food allergies and those who are medically fragile.
Newton Park partnered with The Teal Pumpkin Project to make the event safe for children with food allergies and to bring awareness to food allergies.
Newton Park is also supporting A Rosie Place by giving families with medically fragile children the opportunity to enter Trunk-or-Treat before all other attendees.
“Newton Park was built for kids and to help safely prepare them to be better citizens. We are proud to host an event where so many people in our community can be included,” Newton Park Executive Director Kevin Christy said.
The Candy Graveyard Grab begins at 6:30 p.m. It is filled with 10,000 goody filled skulls for kids to collect.
Newton Park is located at 801 N. Michigan Street in Lakeville, Indiana.
