No arrests after bullet travels through three floors of apartment complex

ELKHART, Ind. -- Residents of an apartment complex contacted Elkhart Police after a bullet went through three apartments Saturday afternoon.

Elkhart Police were called to the 2600 block of Decamp Avenue just before 4 p.m. to investigate.

A suspect on the 3rd floor fired a gun and the bullet went through the floor of the third floor apartment all the way to the first floor apartment.

There were no injuries as a result of the gunfire.

No one was in the third floor apartment when police arrived.
