Notre Dame announces spring athletics attendance policy

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame Athletics announced the attendance policy for spring 2021 athletic events today.

The new policy, in line with campus health and safety protocols, will limit attendance for sports games to guests of competing Notre Dame athletes and coaches and current Notre Dame, St. Mary’s, and Holy Cross students.

Students attending these games will be expected to show a current I.D. Physically distanced seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Those attending the games will be required to follow campus safety polices, like wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.

Notre Dame is continuing to evaluate the possibility of welcoming a larger audience based on health and safety conditions.

More information on attending other events, like the Blue-Gold Game, will be available at a later time.
