Police say Moore was arrested in February in Illinois for unrelated felony charges.
The Illinois Department of Corrections released Moore to St. Joseph County this week for his local murder warrant, which was issued on Jan. 1 by the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office.
Moore was identified as a suspect following an investigation by SBPD's Violent Crimes Unit into the homicide of Montague at Miami Hills Apartments on Oct. 22, 2024.
