Cloudy with hit-or-miss showers early
Sunday, December 8th, 2019
Clouds will increase this morning, with cloudier skies for much of today. There is a chance of rain late in the evening with most of it moving in overnight. The rain will last through much of Monday with rain changing over to snow early Tuesday morning. Little accumulation is expected from the system snow. As the cold air wraps in behind the system, temperatures will drop from the 40s to the 20s. Some lake effect snow is possible Tuesday into Wednesday. The big story will be the bitter cold that come along with it as daytime highs only top out in the low to mid 20s Wednesday. Slow temperature improvements into the weekend with more sunshine.
Today: Increasing clouds and breezy. High of 47.
Tonight: Scattered rain showers. Low of 45.
Monday: Rain showers, especially through midday. High of 49.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with lake effect snow possible, breezy. Temperatures falling from 34 degrees.
