NILES, Mich. — The Coalition for Democracy, a non-partisan group supported by several organizations in Berrien County, celebrated one year of protesting outside Republican fifth district congressman Tim Walberg’s office Monday.
They claim that in the year they’ve been protesting outside his downtown office, no one from the coalition has been able to speak with the congressman directly about their concerns.
Some of the current topics of discussion include ICE tactics, the U.S. military action in Venezuela and the economy.
ABC57 reached out to Congressman Walberg for an interview but received no reply.
