Rugby tournament a boost to Elkharts economy

ELKHART, Ind. – Elkhart will get a big boost to its economy thanks to a high school rugby tournament.
Penn High School rugby is hosting nationals later this week in Elkhart.
The tournament is not just good news for rugby fans, it's also great news for businesses.
It's estimated the tournament will bring in about $500,000 to the area between hotels stays and guests eating out at restaurants.
There will be 24 teams from 18 different states playing in the tournament.
Currently Penn Rugby is ranked fourth by Rugby Magazine.
