Ruthmere Museum invites you to free family Sunday

ELKART, Ind. - Ruthmere Museum invites you to the first free family Sunday of the 2023 season, with tours at no charge from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The last tour will begin about 15 to 20 minutes before 4:00 p.m.

In 2023, the Ruthmere Museum is celebrating the 50th Anniversary all year long.

Ruthmere opened to the public on September 8, 1973, and has since served as a cultural leader in the Elkhart community and kept the history of Elkhart alive for generations to come.

The first Sunday of each month April to November, either Ruthmere Museum or Havilah Beardsley House is open to the public for no admission charged between 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ruthmere is open in April, June, August and October.

The Havilah Beardsley House is open May, July, September and November.

When one site is open for a free family Sunday, the other site is closed.

The Havilah Beardsley House will be closed on Sunday, April 2, 2023.

Ruthmere Museum is located at 302 E Beardsley Ave in Elkhart.
