Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
With Santa preparing for take off, his weather forecast is a bit soggy for Michiana this evening. Dense fog early this morning will clear out in the afternoon, leaving behind highs in the low 40s and mostly cloudy skies today. Gloomy weather persists through the evening with showers developing around 7 PM EST in southwest Michiana, moving northeast the rest of the night. A light drizzle sticks around early Christmas morning, but Santa can't be slowed down my mere rainfall. The daytime on Christmas Day is mainly dry and even partially sunny; widespread and heavier rain showers return on Friday, especially in the first half of the day. A consistent cooldown awaits this weekend, when Michiana goes from the 50s on Saturday to the 20s next Monday.
Today: Mostly cloudy. High 43.
Tonight: Scattered showers. Low 36.
Friday: Scattered showers. High 48.
Saturday: Cloudy. High 50.
