SBFD responds to church fire on S. Bendix Drive Tuesday

South Bend Fire Department SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Firefighters responded to Iglesia Apostolica in the 700 block of S. Bendix Drive Tuesday afternoon for a reported fire.
The call came in just before 3 p.m.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the church.
Fire officials say the fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
