Semi rolls over on M-43 in South Haven Township

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. - A semi rolled over at the intersection of M-43 and Blue Star Memorial Highway on Tuesday morning, South Haven Area Emergency Services reported.

At 9:40 a.m., emergency crews responded to the area.

According to the investigation, the semi rolled over as it tried navigating a turn at the intersection.

The driver of the semi was able to get out of the crushed cab with help from a bystander.

The driver was not injured.

The semi was carrying a load of human waste sludge from the South Haven sewer treatment plant but none of its contents spilled during the incident.
