South Bend Police say missing girls have been found

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police have located the two girls who were the subject of a Silver Alert. They were found unharmed.

Police issued a Silver Alert Tuesday for one-year-old Eleanor Rushing and 6-year-old Halle Rushing. They were last seen around 7 a.m.

Police believed the girls were with 31-year-old Adam Rushing.

The children were dropped off with a relative in St. Joseph County.

Adam Rushing is not in custody and police said his whereabouts are unknown.
