Fair Tuesday, more storms Wednesday
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - St. Joseph County officials tested their voting machines for the public Tuesday morning, giving residents a chance to learn how to make their vote count ahead of the November election.
The process allows volunteers to demonstrate how to use the machines before turning them over to members of the public to test them out.
"And that's something we do this year, we do this every election cycle," said Chris Lyle, Lead Vote Technician. “But the important thing is everybody dots the I's and cross their T's. There are things that have to happen correctly to make sure that these machines are set up appropriate. So the public is confident that their vote will come."
