Stanley Clark students bug out for science

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Kids are bugging out for science! Stanley Clark 7th graders collected hundreds of insects over the past few months. On Tuesday, they showed the critters off! We're talking beetles, butterflies, ear wigs, and even some surprises.

"There's one student, Nathan, who collected a very, very large tomato - we call them tomato worms - but they're a caterpillar of a moth and it was so large I couldn't find a container big enough to put it in,” said Science Teacher Joellen Born.

The project is part of an annual assignment appropriately called Bug Bash.
