Sugarland named in state fair lawsuit

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-The band, Sugarland has been named as a defendant in a potential lawsuit.


The country band was preparing to perform at the Indiana State Fair when the stage collapsed.Tuesday, two families turned in paperwork against the band after both families lost loved ones in the accident.


The stage collapsed during strong winds before the August 13th concert. More than 40 others were injured. Indiana has received 21 notices of potential lawsuits to date.
