Wedding venue on fire in Goshen Tuesday afternoon
After a brief departure yesterday, Michiana returns to widespread 60s across the area this afternoon with mostly sunny skies overhead. The lack of cloud cover forces temperatures to retreat to the mid 40s late tonight, warranting an extra layer for most people out the door tomorrow morning. Friday is abnormally warm and sunny, climbing to the mid 70s in the middle of the day. Friday night, however, deteriorates quickly across Michiana as a large system is expected to bring widespread rain and scattered thunderstorms overnight into Saturday morning. While the severe risk is low, it is not zero right now. The main concern Friday and Saturday, regardless of rain, will be wind. Gusts of 40-50 mph will be possible on both days, making early St. Patrick's Day celebrations feel like we actually LIVE in Ireland.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 65.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 44.
Friday: Partly cloudy/windy. High 74.
Saturday: Partly cloudy/windy. High 70.
