ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, July 2nd, 2023
Mother nature heard our requests for rain and answered in full force. Lines of showers and storms will continue to roll through Michiana heading northeast, eventually clearing out later in the evening around sunset. Lingering showers cannot be ruled out going into the overnight hours. Temperatures tumble into the low 60s for our regional lows tonight, although tomorrow's high will be much warmer in the low 80s. Partly cloudy skies will keep things quiet, although an outgoing early morning shower is possible. Monday night through Tuesday will stay dry and Summer-like just in time for Independence Day. Temperatures will approach 90 on Tuesday as partly cloudy skies remain. Our next best chance for rain is on Wednesday as temperatures top out in the low 90s on hump day. Timing is not definitive, but expect steady rain into the afternoon and evening hours on Wednesday.
Tonight: Thunderstorms early, mostly cloudy after. Low 62.
Monday: Partly cloudy. High 82.
Independence Day: Partly cloudy. High 88.
Wednesday: PM rain. High 90.
