Teenage girl accused of fighting at Elkhart school

ELKHART, Ind. – A 15-year-old was arrested on Thursday after she allegedly punched a girl, the Elkhart Police Department reported.
At 8:30 a.m., a battery incident was reported in the student center at Elkhart High School’s Freshman Division.
The School Resource Officer initially responded to the reported fight.
A 15-year-old girl allegedly walked up behind another girl, grabbed her by the hair, and punched her in the back and head area.
The 15-year-old was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
