Highly scattered showers and thunderstorms Thursday evening turn into more widespread rain by Friday morning. The rain clears by Friday afternoon, and the clouds break Saturday. Temperatures swing cooler Friday, warmer Saturday, cooler again Sunday and the ride continues into next week. The weekend looks overall pleasant, but showers do look likely, around midnight Saturday. Keep an eye on next Tuesday for a severe storm threat.
