The Window in Goshen providing services during record cold temperatures

GOSHEN, Ind.-- With many communities across Michiana experiencing record-breaking cold weather today, warming shelters within various cities and communities are welcoming in anyone who needs food, clothing, or just a simple warm-up.

The Window in Goshen is one such facility with year-round services that is seeing an uptick in people walking through their doors.

Naomi Lear, the Executive Director at The Window, tells ABC57 about how her staff and pool of volunteers prepares and maintains their food pantry, clothing closet, kitchen, and other services offered on South Main Street in Goshen.

The Window offers three meals a day during the work week on top of a food pantry that is open for a portion of each day.

Articles of donated clothing are free to browse and select during the week as well.
